How Much Money Will You Save If You Quit Smoking?

It All Goes Up In Smoke Anyways

by Buddy Nelson

Let's see . . . my dollars are going up in smoke. I'm lighting up another cigarette and I am enjoying the heck out of it. They say that I have an addiction. And guess what, they're right! Who gives a hoot? I like smoking. It gives my body a rush, and I really think better while taking another hit. I am a smoker. Yes, I spend anywhere between $4.50 to $5.00 a pack. And yes, I smoke a pack a day. So, let the math speak. I'm spending over $30 dollars a week. This adds up to over $125 dollars per month. Now by multiplying that by 12, I spend over $1500 per year. Who cares? It's my money . . . Apparently, I have the money to spend on it or else I couldn't afford it. So bug off Mr. and Mrs. Non-smoker! And yes, I'll go outside if I have to - in order to have my smoke. Laws be damned, you can't stop me, I'm a Smoker. If you would understand me, then you'd know that I'm just not into saving money. Get it! I enjoy seeing it go up in smoke . . .

>Anyone out there care to make a comment or two on smoking addiction?
